Evelien van 't Hoog
Evelien van ‘t Hoog has successfully worked as a traffic & production manager in the graphics & printing industry, and for direct marketing, sales promotion, and advertising agencies, since 1989. She likes to make the impossible, possible.
As a print buying expert she loves the possibilities that paper and other materials offer to convey an effective marketing message; her favorite material being polypropylene (EPP). From direct marketing to printed promotional materials, Evelien has used every printing technique and all materials.
Before Dots ‘n Ink Marketing & Media, Evelien worked for clients such as: Frito-Lay, Mars, Kellogg’s, Total, Sanoma Media, McDonalds, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat, Post.nl, Vodafone, Proefdiervrij, CapGemini, Kluwer, Route Mobiel.
In 2006 having landed the exclusive Benelux distribution rights of Australia’s #1 greens supplement, Evelien started FreshPepper, an online retailer, distributor, and importer of food supplements. Having sold the business three years after, she trained in professional web design. Evelien found she has a knack for graphic design and coding and loves making sites, which she has been doing ever since in combination with print buying for clients.
In 2014 she and Pepita Bos decided to join forces and combine their marketing expertise in Dots ‘n Ink Marketing & Media, a full-service marketing agency. Within Dots ‘n Ink, Evelien is responsible for web design, search engine optimization (SEO), print buying, and traffic & production management. She is the first point of contact for the freelancers Dots ‘n Ink work with.
As well as being an accomplished marketing professional, Evelien is also an accomplished singer as well as an accomplished cook. As a cook she set up Rooftop Table, a very successful summertime supper club.
